A pool that sat under a cover all winter needs more than just pulling the cover off and flipping a switch. Debris, algae spores, stagnant water, and loose fittings can all create problems that compound quickly once the pump starts running.
Our technicians follow a thorough 14-point opening checklist, inspect every piece of equipment before turning it on, and leave your water balanced and safe, not green and guessed at. Most customers are swimming within 24–48 hours.
If Your Pool is Dark Green
Pools that open severely green require a "Green to Clean" treatment package, typically an additional $75–$150 depending on pool size. We'll always quote you before proceeding.

Cover Removal & Cleaning
We carefully remove, rinse, and fold your winter cover. It's inspected for tears or wear and stored or set aside per your preference.
Winterization Plug Removal
All expansion plugs, gizzmos, and freeze protectors are removed from returns, skimmers, and equipment ports.
Equipment Reassembly & Startup
Pump, filter, heater, salt cell, and chlorinator are reinstalled and reconnected. Ladders, rails, and diving boards go back in as well.
System Inspection & Pressure Test
We run the system and check for leaks at all unions, valves, and fittings. Equipment operation is verified before we leave.
Startup Chemical Treatment
A heavy shock dose plus algaecide is added to knock out any dormant growth. We balance pH and alkalinity to safe startup ranges.
Water Test & Service Report
Full digital water analysis is recorded and sent to you. We note the current state of all equipment and any items to watch during the season.
